Alex Julian

The Artist

Behind AI Anthems

Alex Julian has lived a life steeped in creativity, discipline, and art. From his earliest memories, art was not a hobby — it was his nature. He began making art at 2 years old and never stopped. By 7, he was in dance lessons, moving with rhythm and grace until age twelve. At 12, music entered his life fully: piano, singing, and songwriting — passions he carries forward to this very day, over 20 years later.

Alex attended Wachusett High School, where he played baseball, earning a place in the Massachusetts All-Star Game. Later, he studied at WPI and ECSU, blending technical curiosity with creative drive. He also played baseball in college, and was a mathematics tutor.

A Leader in

Communication and Yoga

Alex’s voice has always been as strong as his vision. He was President of WPI Toastmasters for many years, where he trained countless speakers and leaders in the art of communication. For 15 years, Alex devoted himself to yoga, running his own school for a decade. He pioneered new forms of yoga such as Drive Enlightened (the yoga of the road) and Tree Yoga School (the yoga of nature). He even brought yoga into New Hampshire prisons, creating programs of rehabilitation and transformation for the incarcerated.

The Tragedy That

Sparked a New Beginning

Life was steady and successful until 2023–2024, when Alex faced devastating loss. His best friend, Tabauhris — a man he had rehabilitated through his prison yoga program — died tragically. Not long after, his former partner Brey-Leigh passed away in another tragic accident.

The grief was overwhelming. Alex fell into a deep depression and even stopped teaching yoga. However, in his last hiking trip with Alex, Tabauhris urged him: “Get into AI.” At first, Alex resisted, asking Tabauhris how AI could help with yoga. Then, when Tabauhris reminded him that a yoga teacher is meant to stay open to everything, Alex realized he has making a huge mistake by being closed off to AI.

This auspicious moment happened on Mount Surprise in the White Mountains of NH — and, as Alex says, what a surprise it was.

From Grief to Greatness:

The Birth of AI Anthems

They say the most profound beauty is often born in the deepest pain. For Alex, the deaths of Tabauhris and Brey-Leigh destroyed him, but also forced him to drop out of the ordinary path of life and go all in with AI music. Out of the soil of heartbreak grew his boldest creation yet: AI Anthems.
